Lagos APC Mobilises for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election Campaign

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has declared its readiness to mobilise voters across the state for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election.

Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, said the party’s structures across the state had been energised ahead of the campaign, with plans to take the message of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda to wards, communities and polling units.

Ojelabi spoke as the official presidential campaign season commenced, saying Lagos APC was prepared to provide the grassroots mobilisation and electoral support required to secure victory for the party.

Party Strengthens Grassroots Mobilisation

The APC chairman said the party had sustained ward-level meetings and consultations with stakeholders across Lagos State’s 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas.

He said the mobilisation also involves women’s groups, youth organisations, market associations, community leaders, artisans and other important stakeholders.

According to Ojelabi, the party intends to use its existing grassroots structures to communicate the achievements and policies of the Tinubu administration to voters across the state.

APC Highlights Lagos Development

Ojelabi also expressed confidence that Lagos residents would continue to support the APC, pointing to what he described as visible development projects delivered by the state government.

He said the party’s campaign would focus on consolidating its political gains while strengthening its relationship with communities across Lagos.

The Lagos APC mobilisation comes as political parties begin formal preparations for the 2027 general elections, with the ruling party seeking to maintain its strong political base in the state.

The party's grassroots strategy is expected to become more intense as the election approaches, particularly as opposition parties also work to challenge the APC’s dominance in Lagos.
