Bishop David Oyedepo, the Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has revealed more details about the massive Ark auditorium being constructed at Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
Oyedepo described the facility as a “global amazement,” saying it has a seating capacity of 109,000 people. He made the disclosure during the 2026 Annual Youth Alive Convention at the Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland.
According to the cleric, The Ark is equipped with 20 chillers for its central air-conditioning system. He explained that each chiller has the capacity to power a 5,000-bed hotel, highlighting the enormous scale of the facility.
Oyedepo also disclosed that the auditorium has 126 escalators and 29 elevators to facilitate movement within the massive complex.
The latest figures differ slightly from earlier descriptions of the project, which had cited 129 escalators, elevators and travelators combined. The new figures were given by Oyedepo while providing an update on the completed facilities.
The bishop further said the project had been completed without the church recently raising a special offering specifically for its construction. He stated that there was no outstanding financial obligation on the project, although some finishing work was still ongoing.
Oyedepo also said Living Faith Church provides welfare assistance to at least 2,000 people every week, insisting that the church's financial resources were being directed toward various needs.
The Ark is being developed as a major worship complex at Canaanland and is expected to accommodate significantly more worshippers than the existing 50,000-capacity Faith Tabernacle.
Oyedepo said the progress of the project demonstrated what he described as “stress-free breakthroughs” and urged members of the church to embrace love as a key principle for continued advancement.
