Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Manchester City on an initial season-long loan, with an obligation to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign.
Marmoush is set to undergo his medical before completing the transfer, which will see him move to north London as Tottenham continue their major squad rebuild under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
The deal includes a £60 million obligation to buy, made up of a £50 million guaranteed payment and a further £10 million in potential bonuses, according to reports on the agreement.
The 27-year-old Egypt international joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 and initially made an impact at the Etihad Stadium. However, he struggled to establish himself as a regular starter as competition for attacking positions increased.
Marmoush made 36 appearances for City last season but started only 16 matches, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. His limited playing time contributed to the decision to seek a move where he could play a more prominent role.
